With more emphasis on the use of infrared and thermal imaging cameras for bat surveys, we can assist you with your footage review from your video footage for the movement of bats and with your sound analysis to identify bat species recorded at your detector locations. With over ten years of experience in analysing bat data, nichecology can accurately and efficiently determine the species of bats and their behaviour from your data.

 We have state-of-the-art IT equipment with the fastest systems so we can analyse large volumes of data quickly and efficiently.

We have a range of in-house survey equipment including full spectrum bat detectors and infrared video camera setups (including batteries, illuminator lamps, and tripods) which we can hire out to your project if you are an ecologist and need extra equipment for your project. They are fully insured by our insurance provider, annually serviced and regularly maintained and tested throughout the survey season.
