Cirl Bunting Presence/Likely Absence Surveys

Our founder and Principal Ecologist, Frances, completed her BSc (Hons) dissertation in 2013, focusing on the sound characteristics of the cirl bunting in a population located in South Devon. This project involved months of fieldwork, during which she recorded their songs and mapped their territories, providing her with extensive experience with the species.

Additionally, we have conducted cirl bunting surveys for various clients throughout the South West of England. Our fieldwork follows the RSPB's survey methodology to confirm the presence/likely absence of cirl buntings on a site.

Please contact us if you need assistance in protecting cirl buntings and their habitats during your project.
